Together We Give.

Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value anyone can act on.

About GivingTuesday & #GiveWhereYouLiveTC

GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity that will take place on November 29, 2022. (But we’ll always accept your support!)

Created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good, this idea has grown into a global movement. It inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

This year, Tulare County’s community joins in to support the idea of Radical Generosity.

Local generosity and community action are powerful forces for good, especially in turbulent times. Even in times of economic uncertainty, we each have a deep reserve of generosity, which we can deploy in myriad ways to make a difference–your time, your kindness, your skills, your voice are all things you can give in addition to charitable donations.

So join in this Giving Tuesday by showing your generosity in a variety of ways during GivingTuesday—whether it’s helping a neighbor, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to causes—everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts.

Here are a few meaningful ways you can take action for good:

Reach out to your local nonprofit and donate today.

Start sharing posts and stories from causes you support. Tell everyone why they mean so much to you and how others can support them too.

Everyone needs a little help, and your time, effort, energy, and skills could help more than you know!

Challenge yourself and your friends and family members to daily acts of generosity. See GivingTuesday’s “Do Good” calendar for inspiration.

Participate in the ACTS OF GENEROSITY Social Media Challenge by sharing how you give using the hashtag #GiveWhereYouLiveTC & #GivingTuesday and tagging friends, family, and co-workers to join the generosity movement with you. Your post may be chosen to be shared on our accounts!
